Get started with the aOS + Klaviyo integration in four steps

Last updated: July 24, 2026

The Klaviyo integration lets you connect a client's Klaviyo account to aOS (Agency OS) and see their email marketing performance right inside your client dashboards — email engagement plus Klaviyo-attributed orders and revenue. The connection is read-only: aOS never sends campaigns, edits flows, or writes any data back to Klaviyo.

Before you start

  • An active aOS account with access to the client you want to connect.
  • Access to the Klaviyo account you want to connect, with permission to authorize a third-party app (typically an owner or admin).

Step 1 — Open Integrations in aOS

In aOS, go to Settings → Integrations. Find Klaviyo in the list of available integrations and click Connect.

Step 2 — Authorize with Klaviyo (OAuth)

You'll be redirected to Klaviyo to sign in and approve the connection. aOS uses OAuth 2.0 and requests only read-only access to the data it needs:

  • Accounts — to identify and label the connected account
  • Metrics — to read email engagement and order metrics
  • Campaigns & Flows — to attribute performance to email
  • Reviews — to source published customer reviews (used by the Ad Copy Engine)

After you approve, Klaviyo sends you back to aOS and the account shows as connected. You can revoke this access at any time (see Step 4).

Step 3 — Let the first sync run

On connect, aOS backfills up to 90 days of reporting data and then keeps it current on an ongoing basis. The first sync usually completes within a few minutes. aOS pulls daily figures for:

  • Emails delivered, opens, clicks, and unsubscribes
  • Klaviyo-attributed orders and revenue (email channel)

Step 4 — View your reporting

Open the client's dashboard to see their Klaviyo email performance alongside your other channels — engagement trends and email-attributed revenue, ready to share in client reports. No spreadsheets, no manual exports.

Disconnecting

To disconnect, go to Settings → Integrations, find Klaviyo, and click Disconnect. This immediately revokes aOS's access and removes the stored authorization tokens. You can reconnect at any time.

What data aOS accesses

aOS reads email performance metrics, attributed orders and revenue, and published customer reviews — all read-only. It never sends emails, creates or edits campaigns or flows, or writes any data back to your Klaviyo account. For details on how data is stored and protected, see our Privacy Policy.

Troubleshooting

  • The connect button sends me back without connecting. Make sure you approved the request in Klaviyo and that your Klaviyo user has permission to authorize third-party apps.
  • My data looks incomplete right after connecting. The first sync can take a few minutes and backfills up to 90 days — give it a moment and refresh.
  • I need to change which Klaviyo account is connected. Disconnect the current account (Step 4), then reconnect and authorize the account you want.
